…Coming Up this 2018 October…

1ST HAUSA CHRISTIANS NATIONAL YOUTHS CONFERENCE.
THE CONCEPT BEHIND THE HAUSA CHRISTIANS NATIONAL YOUTHS CONFERENCE
The Hausa Christians Youths just like in any other society are believed to be the leaders of tomorrow and the hope of the future, but most of the youths of the Hausa Christians in Nigeria are living without hope and any sense of purpose as result of the severe persecution they suffer every day and grew up in as a results of their faith in Christ Jesus. Although highly blessed and endowed with different gifts and talents, most of them are lying fallow without any sense of direction on how to utilize those gifts and live productive lives even in the midst of difficulties. Considering the fact that the Youths are excited with the emergence of HACFO, it placed us at the vantage point to impact their lives positively. This Conference is a hope-made-alive conference which is expected to record a high turnout of participants from across Nigeria. The Hausa land will be a fruitful land if the youths will be reached to and be impacted. For a start and for the purpose of definite planning, we are planning for 1000 youths in attendance from across the northern states. The youths are the future of Christianity in Northern Nigeria, investing in them at this time is a huge profit to the kingdom of God. This gathering of future champions will definitely be another bumper harvest opportunity of Souls for Christ.

HOW BUHARI CAN BE DEFEATED IN 2019 - Adeniyi

Journalist Calls On Opposition Parties To Put Their House In Order

Olusegun Adeniyi, chairman of the editorial board of THISDAY and best-selling author, says only a united opposition can defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
This he said at the Ibadan School of Government and Public Policy (ISGPP) during a special reading of ‘Against the Run of Play’, his latest book.
Adeniyi said the opposition must get “their acts together” to emerge victorious in 2019.
“You need a cohesive opposition to defeat an incumbent. Right now, if you are asked who would be the next candidate, you can tout many names but you are not sure,” he said.
“I don’t expect anything different in the 2019 elections. I expect that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will perform better than it did in 2015.
“I also expect that whoever wants to be president, either the incumbent or challenger, should challenge the process and at the end of the day, we will see what happens.
“The challenge for the opposition is that they have to get their acts together. I keep saying that by the end of 2012 for instance, we already knew who was going to challenge Jonathan in 2015. You can’t say the same thing today.
